My last weekend

So a whole month of vacation just flew by like nothing. Not sure what I did but now I'm goin back to work on Monday. I'm actually anxious to go back to work. So much to look forward to for the new school year! Kinda missed the kids and anxious to see the new kids as well. Hopefully it will be a great year and I can make more difference to the kids as well.

One Year Anniversay

So about a year ago this time, I opened up my etsy shop because people suggested it being a great way to put my handmade items out there. Well I will be celebrating one year of my shop on the 29th and planning to do something special for all the customers that have purchased from me and helped spread the word. I have a few ideas in mind but could use some more so we'll see what ideas are out there.

Also, I started my writing again on examiner. I stopped writing for a few months because I didn't find the time for it and also felt somewhat of a wasting time for chum change but now I sorta missed it so got myself back into it. www.examiner.com/early-childhood-education-in-Anaheim/elisa-yi

I'm actually excited to go back to work. Being on break was good but I miss the kids and I'm looking forward to the upcoming changes with the program as well.

Hot Humid Day

Boy, today was such a humid and sticky day. I was at my parents house cuz my niece was sick and didn't go to
School. Poor thing had A bad fever but then got better as the day went by. As for me still relaxing during my time off. Realized I only have a week and half left before I go back to work yet haven't done much during this time off. Tried to relax as much before the storm of workload comes my way. Jist heard some bad news about a friend which got to me. Life is short that you really have to cherish every minute of it. Them agAin there's always the idiots and jerks who try to ruin peoples lives by being selfish and spreading unnecessary information to others for their own self need to gossip that just makes you become negative again. The only way some people find satisfaction in their own lives is to find misery in another. I pity the fools that do and hope that karma will teach them a lesson they will never forget.

Monday Blues

The weekend flew by so fast! Although I'm on summer break, Mondays are still the worst days of the week. I kept myself busy uploading all the new items I made last night. I spent the weekend laying out in the pool and swimming for the first time this summer and it felt relaxing.  Need to get some tanning in before back to back Vegas trips in August and September. On my down time, I've been reading my favorite Chicken Soup Series. This time it's the one for the Woman's Soul. Such an inspirational book for women, or anyone in general.  Try reading it. It has such great stories for anyone that needs and uplifted spirit.

Wow, it's been over 4 months since I last wrote in the blog. Life has its crazy ups and down moments. Since March, I've been busy decorating our  new home, along with a new job, and back to back housewarmings for family and friends.  Married life has been good for the most part. Nothing to complain about.  Work has me busy but I love the kids as usual and the people that I work with. Not only do they care and worry about my health, they always seem to keep me on track to make sure I'm taking my breaks and taking it easy.  As far as my hellokcharms, it's picked up more recently than when I first began the sales.  New products and items have been added and will continue to be added, so please look for them on either my etsy page www.hellokcharms.etsy.com or my facebook page www.facebook.com/hellokcharms. I have a few more items coming this month so look out for them.
